90-day limited warranty

Charlotte Electric Motors LLC (Zap Cans) warrants that the capacitors we sell will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of delivery.

What's covered

If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect within the 90-day period, we will replace it or refund it, at our option. This warranty is your exclusive remedy for defective products.

What's not covered

• Damage from improper installation, incorrect wiring, or use outside the manufacturer's specifications
• Damage from power surges, lightning, overloading, or a fault elsewhere in the equipment
• Normal wear, misuse, accident, or alteration of the product
• Products that have been physically damaged after delivery

Safety and installation

Capacitors store an electrical charge and should be installed by a qualified HVAC technician. Always discharge a capacitor and disconnect power before servicing. Selecting and installing the correct capacitor for your equipment is the installer's responsibility.

How to make a claim

Email support@zapcans.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We may ask for photos or the return of the defective part. Approved replacements or refunds are handled promptly.
